"The Hand of Our Forefathers": Dror Burstein

In this unique collaboration between the Writers Festival and The Israel Museum, prominent Israeli authors are invited to choose an exhibit at the museum and discuss it with the public. The intersection of literature and art is fascinating and enriches and sheds new light on the works displayed in the museum.

A visit with author Dror Burstein to the prehistoric galleries of the museum, with an emphasis on the ancient stone hand axe, a two-million-year-old human invention that lasted longer than any other.

Opening remarks: Ahiad Ovadia, Curator of Prehistoric Periods, Archaeology Wing.

The tours will leave from the entrance pavilion. We recommend you arrive 15 minutes in advance.
