Sarah Blau
A novelist and playwright, recipient of the 2015 Prime Minister’s Prize for Literature. Blau is the founder of the alternative Holocaust memorial services held in different locations across Israel. She edits and presents several television and radio programs on Jewish culture and identity. Blau is the author of the novels The Book of Creation, Those Well Raised Girls, and Stake. The latter was written onstage in a literary play she has written, in which she plays a novelist who is writing a modern version of the biblical story of Yael and Sisera.
