Neta Halperin
Born in 1980 and raised in Raanana, Halperin is a journalist, literary critic, and teacher. Since 2007, Halperin has been teaching at the Ron Vardi Center in Rishon Lezion (the largest and oldest school for gifted children in Israel) – first philosophy for the 3rd-4th grades and currently journalism and urbanism for the 7th-9th grades. She has been a journalist since 2009, starting as a reporter for environmental affairs and then as a magazine and literary journalist, and has published many interviews with novelists, poets, and intellectuals. In recent years, she contributes to different newspapers and serves as a literary critic in the newspaper Israel HaYom. She lives in Tel Aviv with her husband, the architect and musician David Blau, and her one-year-old daughter Shira.
