Assaf Gavron
Born in Arad in 1968. Gavron has published five novels, a collection of short stories, and a nonfiction collection of Jerusalem falafel-joint reviews. His books have been translated into a dozen languages and received several awards in Israel (including the Bernstein Prize and the Prime Minister’s Prize for Literature), as well as in Germany, France, The Netherlands, and Italy. His book The Hilltop was published in 2013.
