Amanda Stern (USA)
Stern has authored the novel The Long Haul and eleven books for children under the pseudonyms AJ Stern and Fiona Rosenbloom. Her profiles, personal essays, and interviews have appeared in The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, Salon, The Believer, and Interview Magazine, and her stories have been anthologized in several collections. In 2013, she was awarded the prestigious NYFA Fiction fellowship. She is the founder of the popular Happy Ending Music and Reading Series in NYC, which she has been hosting and curating since 2003. She is currently working on her first book of nonfiction and lives in Brooklyn with her dog Busy.
