Asaf Schurr
Schurr is novelist, translator and editor, literary critic and former dog trainer, and teaches Gung Fu in Tel Aviv and Ramla. His books Amram, Motti, and Sigal, were published by Babel. His books Thus Spoke Vincent, the Stupid Cat and The Building were published by Keter. Schurr is the recipient of the 2009 Bernstein Prize and the Prime Minister’s Prize for Literature. He lives in the Shfela with his wife, their dogs, and their cats.
