Oren Nahari
Born in Haifa in 1955, Nahari is a journalist, author, and broadcast journalist. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science and international relations from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Nahari is the editor of the foreign news desk at IBA Channel 1, and presents the programs International Hour and HaKol Diburim on Reshet Bet Radio. He founded the television programs Roim Olam (with David Witzthum), and Global Review, and presents and edits special broadcasts on various subjects. Nahari is the recipient of the 2013 Smolar Journalism Award. He has written articles on foreign affairs, literature, and music for Globes and Haaretz, among others, and his articles were printed in the journals Masa Acher, Metropolis, and more. He has also authored the bestselling books World History Atlas: a Chronology of the Human Race, Israel – 60 Years and Trips, Not Just Milk and Honey: Israel’s Food Lexicon (with Shelomoh Papirblaṭ), and a Who’s Who with Yuval Elazari. He edits the Hebrew edition of the World Changers series and the mystery novels series Traces at Keter Publishing, and initiated IBA Symphony Orchestra’s series History, Ideology, and Music.
