The New York Times bestselling author of A Constellation of Vital Phenomena, which won the National Book Critics Circle’s John Leonard Prize, the Barnes and Noble Discover Award, and was the first English language novel to receive Greece’s Athens Prize for Literature. Marra has also received the Berlin Prize, the Guggenheim Fellowship, and the Whiting Award. He teaches at Stanford University and lives in Oakland, California.
