Arik Glasner
A novelist, critic, and literary scholar. His 2004 book, And at this Season, recounts the story of a man who has left the Jewish Orthodox way of life for the secular world. His literary reviews were published in Haaretz, Maariv, and Makor Rishon, among others. Since 2011, he has been writing weekly reviews for Seven Nights’ literature section. Recipient of the 2007 Bernstein Prize for Literary Criticism. Glasner graduated from the Adi Lautman Interdisciplinary Program for Outstanding Students at Tel Aviv University, and holds a PhD in Hebrew Literature. His doctoral dissertation was devoted to journalistic literary criticism in Israel in recent decades. He writes the blog Free Critic.
