Alex Epstein
Epstein was born in Leningrad (St. Petersburg) in 1971 and moved to Israel when he was eight years old. He is the author of ten books in Hebrew and a two-time winner of the Prime Minister’s Prize for Literature (in 2003 and in 2016). His short-short stories are published regularly in the Haaretz Culture and Literature supplement. His work has been translated into English, Russian, and Portuguese, and a French translation is scheduled to be printed later this year. He lives in Tel Aviv.
