Marcela Sulak
Marcela Sulak is the author of the poetry collections Decency (2015) and Immigrant (2010) from Black Lawrence Press, and the chapbook Of all the things that don’t exist, I love you best (Finishing Line Press, 2008). She’s translated four collections of poetry, by Orit Gidali, from the Hebrew, Karel Hynek Macha and K.J. Erben from the Czech, and Mutombo Nkulu-N’Sengha, from the French, and has co-edited Family Resemblance: An Anthology and Exploration of 8 Hybrid Genres (2015, Rose Metal Press). She directs the Shaindy Rudoff Graduate Program in Creative Writing at Bar-Ilan University, and is an editor at The Ilanot Review and Tupelo Quarterly. Her podcast, “Israel in Translation,” airs on TLV.1.
