Anne Birkenhauer-Molad
Born in Germany, since 1989 lives in Jerusalem. Translates Hebrew literature [prose and poetry] into German. Among her translations works by David Grossman, Chaim Be’er, Jaakow Shabtai, Dan Pagis, Gabriela Avigur-Rotem, Aharon Appelfeld, Yoel Hoffman, Sara Shilo, Daniella Carmi and others. This year she was awarded the translation prize of the German Academy for Language and Literature.
