A Tour in the Footsteps of Judas (in Hebrew) with tour guide Merav Horovitz
Wednesday, July 26, 2017, 19:30
We will begin the tour by observing the site where Judas Iscariot took his own life and continue to Shaarei Chessed and Rehavia in the western part of the city. During the tour, we will learn about the differences between the small, historical city described in the story and contemporary Jerusalem, and become acquainted with the traces left by the historical city in the modern one. The story takes place in a Jerusalem that no longer exists. Most of it occurs within the walls of a mysterious house in the Shaarei Chessed neighborhood and the borders of the small, divided city through which Shmuel Ash, the book’s protagonist, wanders.
