Noam Semel will discuss the world of Hanoch Levin and the translation of his plays with Lilian Barreto and Prof. Evan Fallenberg.
The event will be held as part of the International Translators’ Residency at Mishkenot Sha’ananim with his translators from around the world.

Illustrators Observe a Dreaming Child
Opening of an exhibition in the framework of the Outline Festival – Illustration and Words in Jerusalem.
A joint project of the Visual Communication Department at Bezalel, the International Residency Program at Mishkenot Sha’ananim, and the Outline Festival – Illustration and Words, Jerusalem, 2019.
At the center of the project will be artistic interpretations of short texts by Hanoch Levin that address childhood and children taken from his plays The Child Dreams and Endlessly Mourning.
The illustrations will be created as part of the third-year course Illustration as an Interpretive Tool of the illustration track of the Visual Communication Department the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, under the guidance of lecturer and illustrator Merav Salomon.
